Devoted to help my country

My name is Min Lwin Oo, known to many as Min Min, 55 years old, I am a proud Bamar and a devoted Buddhist. I hold multiple academic qualifications which helped me a lot throughout my career.

While I had my travel agency I met a lot of people and also friends from Germany, who were engaged in social works in Myanmar together with Jürgen von Jordan, the founder of Myanmar Stiftung. The friendship grew naturally throughout the years as we shared values and a mutual commitment to supporting communities in need.

Since 2000 I am in charge of coordinating support for several orphanages and educational institutions across the country. Together the responsible staff in the projects, my work includes assisting ACT Orphanage in Taikkyi, St. Rita Orphanage in Maubin, Whispering Seeds in Kalaw, House of Love in Kawthaung, and a Verena School a State High School near Nyaung Oo (Bagan). My dedication, reliability, and heartfelt commitment grew over the years.

I live in Yangon with my wife, Daw Lay Nandar Kyaw. We are blessed with two children, a boy Aung Khan Khant and daughter Su Su. I am continuing to serve with humility, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility, helping a lot to earn the trust and respect of both local partners and international friends.
