Zurzeit hat die NGO zwei Projekte in Myanmar, die von dem Amerikaner Jim Connor betreut werden. Die Rahmenbedingungen haben sich f\u00fcr die NGO seit 2020 dramatisch verschlechtert. Zun\u00e4chst erzwang die Corona Pandemie und die damit einhergehenden Einschr\u00e4nkungen des \u00f6ffentlichen Lebens die zeitweilige Schlie\u00dfung des Caf\u00e9s in Kalaw und eine Reduzierung der vielseitigen Aktivit\u00e4ten. Der Milit\u00e4rputsch im Februar 2021 hat das Land in eine tiefe politische und wirtschaftliche Krise gest\u00fcrzt. Allen Hindernissen zum Trotz gelingt es dem Team von Whispering Seed nach Kr\u00e4ften ihre wichtige Arbeit fortzuf\u00fchren. Die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Jugendlichen und Lehrern ist heute wichtiger denn je.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sprouting Seeds Caf\u00e9, Bakery &amp; Eco Shop Training Centre<\/strong><br \/>\nIn dem Ausbildungszentrum f\u00fcr Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene gibt es ein Caf\u00e9, eine B\u00e4ckerei, einen kleinen Laden. Dort wird jungen Menschen in und um Kalaw, Shan Staate, Training\/Ausbildung in den verschiedensten Bereichen erm\u00f6glicht (u.a. Kochen, Backen, Englisch- und Computerklassen,). Es werden aber auch Internships in Kalaw f\u00fcr eine Dauer von 3 bis 12 Monaten Programme f\u00fcr Jugendliche aus abgelegenen Regionen und diverser Ethnien angeboten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whispering Earth Sustainability Training Centre<br \/>\n<\/strong>Das Whispering Earth Sustainability Training Centre liegt unweit von Kalaw. Das neuentstandene Trainings- und Schulungszentrum bietet der NGO weitreichende M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr ihre Arbeit. Gemeinsam mit einem Netzwerk von \u00fcber 2.000 buddhistischen Klosterschulen und Kachin Lehrern bietet sie Unterst\u00fctzung und Beratung in der ganzheitlichen Ausbildung, Lehrplanentwicklung fr\u00fchkindlicher Erziehung sowie praktische Unterst\u00fctzung im Alltag (z.B. Kurse und Hilfe bei Hausbau aus Bambus und Erde, Seife- und Shampoo-Herstellung).
